Join PAGES for our last meeting of the year. This is PAGES Annual Elections for the 2022- 2023 School Year. You will have the opportunity to vote on the new leadership team. We will also recap our monthly meetings for the year and ensure our families are equipped with the necessary resources for summer break. Awards, gift cards and prizes will be given away as we celebrate the end of a great school.

SUMMER STEM CAMP
Kindergarten through Eighth-grade students are invited to participate in a week-long STEM Camp. This fun hands-on experience will focus on the various elements of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and will be taught by Indian Prairie certified teachers.
The camp will be offered twice this summer, once on the north side of the district and once on the south side. Students have the option to attend whichever camp is most convenient. Session 1 will be held June 20 – 23 from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Hill Middle School and Session 2 will be held July 25 – 28 from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Crone Middle School. JULY 11th– July 22nd / JULY 11TH– NORTH CENTRAL COLLEGE 9-4PM / JULY 18TH– NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY 10-4PM
STUDENTS WHO ARE GOING INTO THIRD THROUGH TENTH GRADES IN THE FALL OF 2022 ARE INVITED TO JOIN US ON THE CAMPUS OF NORTH CENTRAL COLLEGE, NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY FOR A FUN, IMMERSIVE TWO-WEEK CAMP. THE CAMP WILL HOST 75 STUDENTS.
FOOD IS ESSENTIAL FOR HEALTH!
WE WILL EXPLORE FOOD SCIENCE, AND UNDERSTAND HOW FOOD IS PRODUCED, GROWN, AND CULTIVATED IN YOUR OWN FOOD. WE WILL LEARN ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF OUR CONTRIBUTION TO FOOD AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY. IN ADDITION, AS WE GROW, WE WILL ENGAGE IN PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS, CREATIVITY, AND PASSION FOR READING, WRITING, AND RESEARCH AS WELL AS SCIENCE, MATH, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND THE ARTS!
STUDENTS WILL ENGAGE IN CHESS, CODING, GAME DESIGN/ANIMATION, AND DIGITAL MUSIC MAKING TO FURTHER CREATIVE AND CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS!
CLASSES WILL BE HELD MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY EACH WEEK. THE STUDENTS WILL EXPERIENCE A “LEADERSHIP DAY RETREAT” AT CAMP DUNCAN, AND BE INTRODUCED TO GUEST SPEAKERS AND CAREERS IN THE AGRICULTURAL FIELDS. THE LAST WEEK WILL CULMINATE IN A SHOWCASE (FRIDAY) TO SEE, HEAR, AND LEARN ABOUT THE STUDENT’S EXPERIENCES. THE CAMP PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE WEEKLY COMMUNICATION.
