Waubonsie Valley High School offers a wide variety of AP classes. The AP program offers college-level courses and exams that you can take in high school.

These courses can provide you with an advantage because you may:

  1. Earn college credit before you set foot on campus
  2. Place out of introductory college courses
  3. Free up your college course load and/or graduate early
  4. Stand out to colleges because of your rigorous coursework

At Waubonsie, AP classes are considered weighted, so you receive an additional +1.0 GPA point for each AP grade. For example, an A in an AP class will count as a 5.0; a B counts as a 4.0.
