Parents   & Kids – Partners in a Child’s Education

The Education Committee is hosting an education conference for   parents, educators and the community.  The goal is to partner and build   collaborative relationships with school districts, professional   organizations, the community and families.

This informational seminar will assist to:

  • Provide support to parents and educators
  • Strengthen parents’ knowledge about educational        resources (K-College)
  • Identify national emerging issues that impact the educational process
  • Provide parents with a supportive network that encourages academic achievement success for their children

WV BSA Tours North Central College

Earlier this week Waubonsie Valley’s BSA toured North Central College in downtown Naperville. On April 15th, our students meet with North Central’s BSA to discuss the college admissions process, the importance of maintaining a strong academic record in high school and the challenges facing students as they transition from high school to college. Waubonsie is excited to continue this relationship in the future.
